Ramps
need to be installed on the interior of the top cowl. These ramps help to
keep the airflow smooth and reduce the energy lost to turbulence. Ramps
are epoxy'd in place and filled/smoothed.
All
of the engine baffle pieces were primed and painted with Imron.
For the
sides and back of the baffles, we used the Van's supplied baffle seal
material. Along the front, we are using the thicker, red baffle material.
