Tip Up Slider

For $150 you can have both a tip-up and a slider canopy.  nnnnnn sells a modification to the slider canopy that is a clever and easy modification.  All of the parts are included in the kit and it is a 1-day job.

First, you remove all of the tubing on the forward bow beneath the fore-aft side tubing.  You replace the roller mechanisms with a new weldment that is attached above the side tubing.

At the rear passenger side, a latch is added that would normally stop the canopy from sliding all of the way back.  As the canopy hits the latch, you simply pull it out of the way and let it move back the remaining inch.  A groove cut in the slider track lets it lift free of the rear track.
It then rotates on the front rollers and tips forward about 60 degrees.
