For fresh
air, NACA xxxx vents are installed in the fuselage right behind the
cowling. A template was used to cut out the aluminum skin. The vents
were bonded to the surface with Pro-Seal after removing the paint on the
interior. It is good
to do these early before the area behind the cowl is filled up with cables and
wires, but after the delrin rudder/brake blocks are installed. |
